Dress

I went to Boo's yesterday to see if she had any prom dresses that would fit me. I found two that worked, and I can't decide between them. Here are the two dresses. Which dress should I wear? Excuse the lack of make-up, good posture and my messy hair. :)

Sporting Clays

I know this is the second post for today, but as school starts back tomorrow, I will not have any time to post this week.

Yesterday, Uncle David, cousin Jessie, Uncle Butch, Dad, Caleb and myself went to a "sporting clays" range. I guess the best way to describe sporting clays is to cross golf and skeet shooting. It was fun, and considering that it was Caleb and my first time to shoot a shot gun, difficult. Needless to say, it was an interesting game. Here are some pictures of us in action. (In the pictures of Caleb and I, the big guy is our Uncle David.)

I finally got the right camera card and the past couple weeks, I have been taking pictures like crazy. And most of the time, they have been of completely random things. Here are two that I have taken. My computer does not want to load any more pictures.

Waiting...

I am sitting here in Dad's classroom waiting for the last kid to be picked up from after school care. Right now, Dad and Adam ( the last kid waiting to be picked up) are playing a game on the whiteboard. It is kinda fun to watch.

My camera came yesterday!!!! It was exciting and frustrating at the same time. Because I have had soooo much Chemistry and other school work to do, all I could do is take it out of the box and, from time to time, lovingly gaze at it. Also, the memory card that I bought was the wrong kind! So even if I had the time, I could not play with my camera. I can not wait until this weekend!

Adam is about to leave, so that means Dad will be ready to leave as well. I will post pictures taken with my new camera soon. If my computer will let me.

Difficulties

#1 WHY DOES CHEMISTRY HAVE TO BE SO PAINFUL?!?!?!

#2 Stupid computer will not load my pictures!!! I will have to post them later. Sigh.

#3 FedEx would not deliver my camera today, because we were not here to sign for it. Makes sense, I was just hoping to have my camera today. :(

#4 Elise has dinner ready. (I love that she can make dinner.)

I am back!

School and life have been so hectic lately, that there has been no time for anything. I finally, have a break!

Ok, yes, I did end up taking the job and I am enjoying it. For those of you who don’t know what my job is, I am the Thursday secretary for our home school group (Crossroads Christian). I have classes on Tuesday and we are only open Tues and Thurs. So far, my job has been full of filing, answering the phone, answering questions people have, and banking. I thought the banking was fun until I did a 3-page deposit. That took FOREVER! But overall, I am enjoying it.

Another thing I really like about my job is the paycheck! I have been saving up for a camera for about six months now and my last paycheck brought me to my goal. After talking to KimH, and doing a little research, I found the camera. I am getting a Nikon D40. With Mom’s help, I ordered it Thursday night! It should be here by Thursday at the latest. I can’t wait!

Elise and Skye have been out in the now melting snow and they have COLD hands. Elise thought it would be fun to “scare Kara with my cold hands while she is typing.” I did not appreciate it.

I have a lab write up that is due Tuesday. I should go write it. I feel lazy though. I think I will end this post and post some pictures of Lydia Marie (my new cousin) and the snow. Then I will write my lab up. ☺
